Missouri Math Coalition is a statewide alliance of parents, students, teachers and community members with the mission of promoting authentic math education in Missouri public schools through world-class mathematics standards and high quality curriculum.
We are concerned with our state's low standards and our associated failure to keep in step with countries and states whose children are held to higher standards. We are alarmed by the growing discrepancy in math achievement between states, like

We join a growing number of states in the national movement to improve math standards in public education and are a member of The U.S. Coalition for World Class Math
Nationally and internationally, many groups have formed to promote authentic math education. We join concerned citizens from other states and other countries addressing this issue. These states include California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, and Washington State.
